So on Sunday I took part in a craft fair at a local brewery, and it was awesome! They had live music, a food truck, a cupcake decorating station, and multiple vendors selling a whole array of different crafts. This is the new bar for other events, because now I'm spoiled. Everyone was in a very festive mood, many having a drink as they walked and shopped, and of course, there were lots of Christmas sweaters on show. My Christmas earrings sold well, as did my new bookmark range, which make great gifts. This was only my fourth fair this year, and I am still learning how best to sell and market my work. Obviously, each event will be different, and there is always something new to learn. I definitely plan on doing a lot more fairs next year!I got lots of good feedback on my stall and my work. A couple of people asked if I had a proper shop yet. I told them no, but I'm working on it! It is so nice to have positive feedback, reaffirming that I made the right decision when I stepped back from my other job, and giving me a confidence boost to continue following my dreams.
